Career Coaching

Professional career guidance helps students align their strengths and interests with the right subject & career choices, ensuring confidence and clarity.

It paves the way for a future filled with passion, purpose, and happiness.

There are 3 key steps a student must take in career planning

>> Step 1. Self Reflection: Analyze your strengths, skills, interests, and aptitude to understand your unique abilities. Leverage a well-proven psychometric analysis tool to get insights on strengths and aptitude.

>>Step 2. Career Exploration: Research and explore careers that align with your strengths. Connect with experts, find mentors, take internships.

>>Step 3: Create a Roadmap: Develop a step-by-step plan, including the right study streams, skill development, Colleges that fit, Entrance Exams and associated applications and profile building and other resources needed to achieve your chosen career goal.

As a Professional Coach, I can mentor and guide you through this journey.

Key Decision Points where I can help are:

Stream & Subject Selection [Science, Commerce, Arts etc. ]

Students of Class 9, 10 need clarity in selecting subject combinations and appropriate institutions for their senior secondary education. There are multitude of career options today for all fields. Traditionally there has been a bias towards selecting science subjects. Psychometric tests give additional inputs about aptitude. Leveraging these inputs and aligning with student’s capability and interest will setup the student in the right path.

Career Planning, College Selections

Students in Classes 10, 11, and 12 need guidance on choosing suitable careers, identifying associated institutions, and preparing for the relevant entrance exams to achieve their goals.

Profile Building and Career Roadmaps

As students discover their interests and passion, they need to build a strong profile which reflects their personality, strengths, interests & achievements to their target institutions and future employers.

The Coaching Workflow

Psychometric Assessment

The student takes an online psychometric test. This can be taken from home. Ideally, the test should be completed within 5 days.

The psychometric assessment looks at 5 key aspects of your personality

  • Aptitude
  • Orientation Style
  • Personality Type
  • Interest
  • Emotional Quotient

1 – 1 Discussion

This discussion with the students and parents will cover the aspirations, interests, strengths and weaknesses of the student. We will also talk about future plans, academic context and the family context.

I will run you through the report and its findings. Mutually we will arrive at a shortlist of career options.

Profile Building and Career Plan

Personalized guidance on building and articulating a strong personal profile covering sports, extra-curricular activities, academic achievements and community involvement. This helps students to stand out in their college applications or other career pursuits.

We craft a tailored career roadmap that provides a clear, actionable plan for achieving their short and long-term goals, considering their unique skills, passions, and future industry trends. The personalized roadmap will cover an action plan for improving academic performance, shortlisting of a target of set of courses, colleges and associated entrance exams to plan for.
